Lolita shops in Hong Kong (part 1 Mong Kok)

I am planning to shut down my Wordpress blog....
However, I don't want to waste my article!
So I will be moving some of them here and the first one is about "Lolita Shops in HK".
I use to like the Lolita Style back then.

Here it is :

Hong Kong is like almost my hometown and also the almost-heaven for Japanese or korean fashion lover or fan. So I searched for lolita shops that are located in Hong Kong through the internet, and I found quite a lot of lolita shop addresses, so I grab my notebook and pen and start to jolt down the addresses people provide through forums and blogs.

I was staying near Mong Kok and from the information I gathered, Mong Kok is the main place to find Lolita clothing and shoes. Our first destination is Sino Center, it is located few kilometers away from the hotel I'm staying at. I was full of hope, with the help of my brother, we reach our destination.

When we arrive there, I can't find ANY lolita store. I was very disappointed, but I didn't give up. In fact my brother and I walked around Sino Center for at least 3 times to make sure we didn't miss anything. But still we can't find any lolita store.

So we look at the map and we found out that Argyle street was near Sino center so we walk to Argyle street and found Argyle center. Argyle center is VERY crowded. There are a lot of people there and of course stores! The first time I visit Argyle center, I bought a lolita shoes  in a store called Tin Sum Shoes. They sell many montreal shoes for a very cheap prize! My brother also bought a pair of shoes there. The lolita shoes cost me HK$100 and my brother's shoes cost HK$150, which I consider cheap for those kind of shoes.

Then we walked around again and we found a store which sells knock-off jackets from Hangry and Angry, a winter coat from (I think) BtSSB, few dresses from Angelic Pretty and also BtSSB. Most of the dress are for babies or toddlers though... I also found a shop with no name which sells a very ridiculous lolita blouses and they also sell a very "rough" and cheap looking Gothic dress for HK$800.

Few day later, I went back to Argyle center with my brother (this time I am staying in causeway bay). I went there because, on my first visit there I missed a very nice store called G.L.P.. Which stands for Gothic Lolita and Punk. They sell mostly gothic lolita things and also punk. Their dresses are superb and their bags are oh- god so pretty !

They sell lolita shoes, boots and the traditional Japanese sandal (geta/木屐) that matches their Qi-lolita dresses, however they are very expensive compared to Tin Sum Shoes.  They also sell discounted clothes. The cheapest product is HK$70 for clothes and HK$49 for bags, HK$100 for pants and HK$200 for shoes. G.L.P. is the best lolita store I ever visited in Hong Kong. Not to mention the sales woman is very nice she can't really speak english but some how she can communicate with me and my brother well.

In G.L.P. I got my self 2 blouses, one chocker and a skirt. While my brother got himself a punk t-shirt and a tie. We are very pleased with this store.
